I chose to "STOP Installation" during the Found New Hardware
Wizard when prompted that the drivers had not passed Windows Logo Testing.

If "STOP Installation" was chosen during the Found New
Hardware Wizard, the driver was not properly installed, and its corresponding
software will not detect the NEO. To resolve this,
the driver will need to be updated:
the NEO to the computer via USB.
2) Launch the
application you are using in conjunction with the NEO
and minimize it.
Device Manager on your computer by going to Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > Hardware.
Universal Serial Bus Controllers by clicking on the plus sign (+). If already
expanded, you should see the AlphaSmart Communication Driver with a yellow
exclamation point on it.
